Delta Kappa Gamma Education Scholarship

The Delta Kappa Gamma Education Scholarship is awarded to an entering freshman student who desires to enter the teaching profession. Minimum qualifications include: 2.50 grade point average; full-time enrollment (12 semester hours or more); and U.S. citizen or permanent resident. First preference is given to a female graduate of a high school located in Hockley or Cochran County, Texas. The scholarship program was established by the Theta Epsilon Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Society International to support students pursuing a career as teachers. The society promotes excellence among women professionals in the field of education.
