Eleanor Lincoln Dryden Scholarship in Theatre Arts

The Eleanor Lincoln Dryden Scholarship is awarded to a freshman or sophomore student who majors in theatre arts. Minimum qualifications include: 3.00 grade point average; full-time enrollment (12 semester hours or more) in the theatre arts program; and U.S. citizen or permanent resident. The scholarship program was established by the Retha Lincoln of Levelland, Texas in honor of her daughter Eleanor, who worked as a junior high school speech and English teacher. Mrs. Lincoln established seven endowed scholarship programs in 1986 to honor her husband Z.O. Lincoln, five daughters and other family members. Mrs. Lincoln died in 1994.
