Nolan Demel Memorial Scholarship

The family and friends of Nolan Demel have established a scholarship program to honor this young man’s life. This scholarship program has a special story in that Nolan’s classmates in the National Honor Society at Whiteface High School and the Whiteface community raised more than $12,000 to help endow the scholarship. The Lafayette and Nancy Demel family has a long association with the college as former students. The Nolan Demel Scholarship Program is a general college scholarship that is awarded to an incoming freshman who is a graduate of Whiteface High School. Minimum qualifications include: 2.50 grade point average; and full-time enrollment (12 semester hours or more).
