Don and Nancy Marble Memorial Scholarship

To honor the memory of her father and mother, Donette Marble chose to create the Don and Nancy Marble Memorial Scholarship. Mr. Marble was a cotton farmer and leader, serving as president of both the Plains Cotton growers and National Cotton Association. In his honor, the scholarship is awarded to a student majoring in agriculture with a preference for those in agribusiness. A former SPC student, Donette earned a spot as a member of the Lady Texan basketball team and went on to play basketball at Texas Tech University. Eligible applicants may be entering freshmen or returning sophomores, and must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.50.
