Terry Ross Sires Memorial Scholarship

An alumnus of South Plains College, Terry Ross Sires was voted Mr. South Plains College the year he graduated from SPC in 1963. His wife at the time of his passing, Carolyn F. Moore, established this endowment to encourage and support student athletes. An avid golfer his entire life, Mr. Sires enjoyed watching college athletics and recognized the high level of athleticism among SPC team members. He saw the good in every person he met and viewed every challenge as an opportunity. Born in Levelland and raised in Whitharral, Texas Terry Ross Sires, passed away in March of 2019.
