Bill and Sherry Barsch Education Scholarhsip

This scholarship was established to honor Bill Barsch of Brady, Tx. Mr. Barsch served in education beginning in 1964 until he retired in 1999. Barsch served as a teacher, principal, Director of Special Services and Deputy Superintendent during his time in education. Barsch finished his final three years of his career as the Levelland Superintendent of Schools. Barsch was devoted to teaching his students and did what he could to best serve his community. He served as a deacon in the First Baptist Churches of Kermit, Colleman, and Levelland. Sherry Barsch, wife of 58 years, and their children created this scholarship to support a future teacher.
