Weldon Adams Memorial Scholarship in Business

This scholarship was established in honor of Weldon Adams by members of the Independent Insurance Agents of Lubbock. It is awarded to a student majoring in business administration. Minimum qualifications include: 2.50 grade point average; full-time enrollment (12 semester hours or more); and U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Selection is made by the faculty of the Business Administration Department. Mr. Adams was a long-time member of the association and a leader in the insurance industry in the South Plains region.
