W.L. and Ermis Goble Memorial Scholarship

The W.L. and Ermis Goble Memorial Scholarship is a, general college scholarship awarded to a freshman or sophomore student. Minimum qualifications include: 2.50 grade point average; full-time enrollment (12 semester hours or more); and U.S. citizen or permanent resident. This scholarship program was established through the generosity of W.L. and Ermis Goble. Mr. Goble moved to Levelland in 1962 and started Levelland Cottonseed and Vegetable Oil Mill which he operated until 1988. During his retirement, he was involved in many community service projects through his involvement in Rotary, the Shriner?s and Scottish Rite Learning Center.
