Helen Devitt Jones Scholarship

The Helen DeVitt Jones Scholarship is awarded to students who are entering college for the first time several years after completing their high school education. Minimum qualifications include: 2.50 grade point average; full-time or part-time enrollment. The scholarship is one of four scholarship programs established by Helen DeVitt Jones through the Helen Jones Foundation. Mrs. Jones, a great humanitarian and patroness of education and the fine arts, was an heir to the Mallet Ranch in Hockley, Cochran, Yoakum and Terry counties. She devoted her life to sharing her wealth as a patron of philanthropic causes.
