M.B. and Glea Conatser Memorial Scholarship

The M.B. and Glea Conatser Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a freshman or sophomore student who majors in pre-medicine. Minimum qualifications include: 2.50 grade point average; full-time enrollment (12 semester hours or more); and U.S. citizen or permanent resident. The scholarship was established by Mrs. Glea Conatser in memory of her husband who served the Levelland community in the insurance industry. Even though Mr. Conatser only completed the 9th grade, he was an avid supporter of public education and encouraged many young students to complete high school and helped others attend college. Mr. Conatser died in 1976 and Mrs. Conatser died in 2008
