Lorena Wood Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was established by Jo Judah of Kopperl, Texas, and her son John Judah of Dallas, Texas, in memory of Mrs. Judah’s mother Lorena Wood. Mrs. Wood worked with her husband Jessie W. Wood to farm land in Hockley County near Sundown, Texas. In order to qualify for the scholarship, applicants must have and maintain a minimum 2.80 grade point average and enroll as a full-time student (minimum 12 semester hours). Preference is given to first generation college students.
