Stephen and Pat Henry Scholarship
The Stephen and Pat Henry Scholarship is a general college scholarship awarded to freshman or sophomore student. Minimum qualifications include: 3.00 grade point average; full-time enrollment (12 semester hours or more) in an associate degree program; and U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Selection is based on academic performance, leadership and personal character. The scholarship program was established by Stephen and Pat Henry of Levelland, Texas. The Henrys are the publishers of the Levelland and Hockley County News-Press and have distinguished themselves as respected business and community leaders. Mr. Henry serves as a member of the South Plains College Foundation Board of Directors.
