Williams Family Scholarship
The Williams Family Scholarship has been established by Ken Williams, an alumnus of South Plains College, former member of the SPC Board of Regents, and a member of South Plains College Foundation Board of Directors. Mr. Williams, along with his brother Rob Williams, are co-owners and managers of G&C Contracting Company, Inc. of Levelland. The business has been a part of the Williams Family for three generations that has resulted in close ties to South Plains College. The scholarship program provides financial assistance to students who major in a STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) field of study. In order to be considered, students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.5 and enroll as a full-time student (minimum 12 semester hours). The Williams Family was recognized for its service and support to South Plains College in 2015 as a recipient of the Foundation’s Pacesetter Award.
