Randy Fesperman Memorial Scholarship in Law Enforcement
Faculty colleagues, family, students and friends have contributed to the establishment of the Randy Fesperman Memorial Scholarship in Law Enforcement. Professor Fesperman taught in the law enforcement technology program from August 1990 until his untimely death in June 2008. During this time, he served as program coordinator, as the Law Enforcement Honor Guard sponsor and helped organize the annual Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Ceremony held on campus each spring. The scholarship is awarded to a returning sophomore who enrolls as a full-time student (minimum 12 semester hours) in the law enforcement or criminal justice programs. The scholarship recipient must maintain a minimum 2.5 grade point average, as well.
