Thad McDonnell Memorial Scholarship

An educator, banker and business owner in Levelland and Grapevine, TX prior to his passing in 2011, Thad McDonnell was honored with this endowment through a generous donation from the Board of Directors of First Bank and Trust (then AimBank). Bringing his family to Levelland to serve as the school district’s superintendent, Mr. McDonnell moved into banking in 1963. His focus was exemplary customer service that was communicated in his Monday morning staff meetings. His family has supported the endowment and have specified that it benefit a graduate of Levelland High School.
