Robert Smotherman Memorial Scholarship

The Robert Smotherman Memorial Scholarship is a general college scholarship that is awarded to an incoming freshman student. First consideration is given to students who are graduates of Whiteface High School. Minimum qualifications include: 2.50 grade point average; full-time enrollment (12 semester hours or more); and U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Robert Smotherman served many years as superintendent of the Whiteface Consolidated Independent School District. The scholarship that honors him was established by family and friends.
