Millie Eileen Young Honorary Scholarship

This scholarship honors Millie Eileen Young and was established by Brent and Emily Wheeler of Levelland. The Wheelers are music faculty in the college’s Creative Arts Department and are acclaimed jazz guitarists. The scholarship benefits a non-traditional student who is currently raising a young family and who wishes to return to college. In order to be considered for the scholarship, the applicant must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident, must enroll in at least 12 semester credit hours as a full-time student, and must have and maintain a minimum 2.50 cumulative grade point average.
