Stephanie Smith Memorial Scholarship

Stephanie Lynn Smith served as SPC Alumni Coordinator from August, 2014 until her passing in November, 2020. As a student at South Plains College, she served as our mascot, Terrible Tex, and was also selected to serve in the elite group of Campus Ambassadors. She went on to obtain a Bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University where she studied Marketing and Public Relations. Stephanie was an enthusiastic, genuine and dedicated ambassador for SPC. It is the hope of the many friends and family who donated to create this endowment that the recipient will also find joy in being an SPC Texan.
