Ray and Donna West Pre-Engineering Scholarship

The Ray and Donna West Pre-Engineering Scholarship is awarded to an outstanding student majoring in pre-engineering. Minimum qualifications include: 2.50 grade point average; full-time enrollment (12 semester hours or more); and U.S. citizen or permanent resident. This program is one of seven scholarship programs established by Ray and Donna West of Midland to assist SPC students with their college studies. Mr. West grew up in Muleshoe and graduated from Muleshoe High. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering from the University of Oklahoma and worked as an engineer and consultant until his retirement. The Wests established these scholarships in their spirit of giving back to their community.
