Norma and Larry Boggs Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship program was established by Larry Boggs in memory of his wife, Norma, who taught English at South Plains College for 20 years before her death in 1994. Mr. Boggs worked many years for Amoco Production before his retirement. He died in 2010. The scholarship is awarded to a student who plans to prepare for a teaching career. Recipients must enroll as full-time students (minimum 12 semester hours) and have a minimum 2.5 grade point average.
