Z.O. Lincoln Memorial Scholarship in History

The Z.O. Lincoln Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a freshman or sophomore student who plans to major in history at the College. Minimum qualification include: 3.0 grade point average, full-time enrollment (12 semester hours or more) as a history major; and U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Mr. Lincoln was a Levelland businessman who served as Hockley County Judge from 1944-48 and later worked for the county tax assessor collector’s office. The endowed scholarship program in his name was established by his wife, Retha Lincoln of Levelland, Texas, following his death. Mrs. Lincoln endowed seven scholarship programs in honor of family members.
