Post-Montgomery Scholarship

Part of the vast holdings of the C.W. Post ranching empire, acreage from the Oxsheer-Double U Ranch was purchased in 1957 and was land on which South Plains College would build it’s first five buildings. The Post-Montgomery Scholarship Endowment was established by the principals to provide financial support to entering SPC freshmen from Hockley, Garza and Lynn Counties with no restriction as to course of study.
