Gene and Leannah Darr Scholarship

An SPC employee for 25 years before retiring in May 2009, Leannah Darr stated that creating a scholarship endowment was a long time goal for her and her family. Mr. and Mrs. Darr’s daughters both graduated from SPC before transferring and graduating from Texas Tech and six of their seven grandchildren have also attended SPC. This scholarship is purposefully general and has a preference for a student who has demonstrated a strong work ethic.
