Ray and Donna West Physical Therapist Assistant Scholarship

The Ray and Donna West Scholarship is awarded to a freshman or sophomore student enrolled in the Physical Therapist Assistant program. Minimum qualifications include: 2.50 grade point average; full-time enrollment (12 semester hours or more) into he PTA program; and U.S. citizen or permanent resident. This scholarship program was established by Ray and Donna West of Midland. Mr. West grew up in Muleshoe, Texas, and graduated from Muleshoe High. He obtained his bachelor?s degree in petroleum engineering from the University of Oklahoma and worked as an engineer and consultant until his retirement. The Wests have established seven scholarship programs in their spirit of ?giving back to the community."
