Marty Demel Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship honors the memory of Marty Demel who was an alumnus of South Plains College. Established by his wife, Mrs. Dana Demel, the scholarship supports students enrolled in the electronics technician specialty track of the industrial manufacturing/emerging technologies program. After graduating from SPC, Mr. Demel spend his professional career working in the field of electronics, including starting his own business A-Kilowatt Electric. In order to be considered for the scholarship, applicants must enroll in a minimum of 6 semester credit hours, and have a minimum 2.0 grade point average.
