Phi Beta Kappa-West Texas and Eastern NM Chapters Scholarship

The Phi Beta Kappa – West Texas and Eastern New Mexico Chapters Scholarship is awarded to an outstanding member of the SPC Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, national honor society for students of two-year colleges. To be eligible, students must be an active member of Phi Theta Kappa, have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 and enroll as a full-time student (12 semester hours or more) in an associate degree program at SPC. The scholarship program was established by Dr. Alice White of Fredericksburg, Texas, an advocate of community college education and a former member of the South Plains College Foundation Board of Directors
