Ann Deardorf Memorial Scholarship

The Ann Deardorf Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a freshman or sophomore student who is enrolled in the Child Development program. To be eligible, students must have a minimum 2.50 grade point average, enroll full-time (12 semester hours or more) in the Child Development program and be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Selection is made by program faculty. The scholarship honors Ann Deardorf who taught child development at the SPC downtown Lubbock Campus from 1980 until her death in 1984. The scholarship program was established by memorial gifts from family and friends.
