Jason Fann Memorial Scholarship

Student members and faculty sponsors of the South Plains College Law Enforcement Club established this scholarship to honor a fallen brother in Law Enforcement. Deputy Jason Fann graduated from the SPC Law Enforcement Academy in 2016 and was attending academic courses toward his Associate’s Degree at the time of his death in August 2017.
A husband and father, he was serving as a Deputy Sheriff in Yoakum County and as a Police Officer in Seagraves when he lost his life in the line of duty. He had also served as a volunteer firefighter for the City of Plains during his off-duty hours. The scholarship supports a student in the SPC Evening Law Enforcement Police Academy.
