James Courtney Memorial Scholarship in Computer Information Systems

This scholarship honors James Courtney who taught computer information systems at South Plains College from 1981-1988. Minimum qualifications include: 2.50 grade point average; full-time enrollment (12 semester hours or more) in the computer information systems program; and U.S. citizen or permanent resident. It was established by family and friends and recognizes his many years of public school teaching. Mr. Courtney died in 1996.
