Christine Devitt Memorial Scholarship in Agriculture

The Christine DeVitt Memorial Scholarship is awarded to freshman or sophomore agriculture science majors who demonstrate academic merit, personal character and leadership. To be eligible for consideration, students must enroll full-time (12 semester credit hours or more) in the agriculture program and have a minimum 3.00 grade point average. Scholarship selection is made by the faculty of the agriculture program. The scholarship is made possible through the generosity of the late Christine DeVitt, a West Texas rancher, businesswoman and philanthropist who was an heir and partner of the famed Mallet Ranch. Miss DeVitt’s legacy is sustained through The CH Foundation which she established in 1986.
