Donna Cook Paxton and Larry Cook Scholarship

The children of Eddie Paxton established this scholarship after Mrs. Donna Paxton’s passing in 2017 in order to pay tribute to her brother’s career in higher education. Mr. Larry Cook was a professor of English at West Texas A & M University in Canyon for approximately thirty years, after which he retired and moved to Kerrville, TX. The award benefits a student majoring in Education and has a preference for those planning to teach English.
