Jason Wilson Thomas Memorial Scholarship

The Jason Wilson Thomas Memorial Scholarship is awarded to an outstanding student enrolled in the Associate Degree Nursing program at SPC. First consideration is given to nursing students who have demonstrated an ability to overcome adversity as a result of a physical or learning disability. To be eligible, students must enroll in a minimum of nine (9) semester hours and have a minimum 2.50 grade point average. Recipients are selected by Nursing Department faculty. The scholarship was established by the family of Jason Thomas who earned his bachelor of nursing degree from West Texas A&M University and worked in geriatric nursing care at the time of his death in 2006.
