Jim and Ramona Davis Honorary Agriculture Scholarship

The Jim and Ramona Davis Scholarship is awarded to a freshman or sophomore student who has graduated from a Hockley County high school and majors in an agriculture-related field of study. Minimum qualifications include: 2.50 grade point average; full-time or part-time enrollment (6 semester hours or more) in the agriculture program; and U.S. citizen or permanent resident. The scholarship program was established by Ronny and Suanne Alexander of Levelland, Texas, in honor of Mrs. Alexander’s parents. Mr. and Mrs. Davis owned and operated AgProducts in Levelland for 40 years prior to their retirement. Mr. Alexander serves as a member of the South Plains College Board of Regents.
