Jerry and Vanneta Beach Family Scholarship

This scholarship has been established by Jerry Beach of Levelland, Texas, in memory of his wife, Vanneta. The scholarship recognizes an outstanding first-year student who enrolls in the associate degree nursing or vocational nursing program. Applicants must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident, enroll full-time in the nursing program and have a minimum 2.5 grade point average. The scholarship was established to encourage in future nurses the level of care Mrs. Beach received during her fight with ALS, often referred to as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. Mrs. Beach passed away in 2011.
