James and Mary Carroll Family Scholarship

The Carroll Family Scholarship was established by the James and Mary Carroll to benefit the agriculture program. Minimum qualifications include: 3.00 grade point average; full-time enrollment (12 semester hours or more); and U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Selection is made by the agriculture program faculty. Mr. Carroll taught many years for SPC in the ag program and Mrs. Carroll worked in the SPC Library. The scholarship was originally established to honor their son Jimmy Ray Carroll, who was an SPC graduate and worked for the Radian Corporation at the time of his death. James Carroll died in 2013.
