Larry Roberts Honorary Scholarship in Physical Education

Larry Roberts Honorary Scholarship is awarded to a freshman or sophomore student majoring in kinesiology. Minimum qualifications include: 2.50 grade point average; full-time enrollment (12 semester hours or more); and U.S. citizen or permanent resident. The scholarship was chartered in 2012 to honor this longtime member of the SPC faculty. Mr. Roberts taught physical education at the college for 26 years and also coached the SPC golf and tennis teams in the 1970s and 1980s.
