Iris Upshaw Memorial Scholarship

The Iris Upshaw Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a freshman or sophomore student who majors in theatre arts. Minimum qualifications include: 2.50 grade point average; full-time enrollment (12 semester hours or more) in the theatre arts program; U.S. citizen or permanent resident. The scholarship program was established by Mrs. Brenda Ainsworth in loving memory of her mother Iris Upshaw, who loved speech forensics and the theatre. Mrs. Ainsworth served 28 years as a member of the SPC Foundation committee and the Foundation Board of Directors.
