James and Mildred Montgomery Scholarship

This scholarship was established by James and the late Mildred Montgomery of Levelland to assist a student majoring in accounting. Mr. Montgomery served as a member of the SPC Board of Regents from 1996 to 2010. He owned and operated Hockley County Abstract Company for 40 years and is a past Levelland City Mayor. Mrs. Montgomery was a former educator who taught home economics for 35 years in public schools in Amarillo and Levelland. Mrs. Montgomery died in 2011 and Mr. Montgomery in 2020.
