Bette Pitts Scholarship in Office Technology

The Bette Pitts Scholarship is awarded to an outstanding student who is enrolled in the Office Technology program. Minimum qualifications include: 2.50 grade point average; full-time enrollment (12 semester hours or more); and U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Established by Mike and Janna Worley of Levelland, this program honors Bette Pitts who taught 31 years in the Business Administration Department at SPC, retiring as professor of business and departmental chairperson in 2007. The program recognizes Professor Pitts’ years of service, helping SPC students prepare for success in a business career.
