Minimum qualifications include: 2.50 grade point average; full-time enrollment (12 semester hours or more); and U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Students are selected for the award by mathematics faculty. The scholarship program is made possible through the generosity of the late Frederick D and Virginia Nelson who established a trust to provide scholarships for SPC students.
