1926 Study Club Scholarship
The 1926 Study Club met as the oldest women’s club in Hockley County for more than 75 years before it disbanded. The club established a scholarship fund in 1988 to benefit a history-government student. Minimum qualifications include: 2.50 grade point average; full-time enrollment (12 semester hours or more); and U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Students are selected for the award by the faculty of the Social Science Department.
