Hill Family Scholarship in Science

SPC alumnus Terry his and his wife Shari have created this scholarship endowment to support students majoring in science disciplines. Mr. Hill graduated from South Plains College in 1990 and went on to achieve significant success as a chemical distribution consultant and executive advisor. Prior to forming Apex Distribution Consulting in 2015, he guided the development and execution of commercialization strategies at Univar USA, a leading chemical distributor. Mr. Hill credits SPC and its faculty for encouraging him to excel in science and challenging him to develop a passion for learning. In order to be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must enroll full-time a science program offered by the Department of Biology or Department of Science at SPC and maintain a minimum grade point average of 2.50.
