Helen Devitt Jones Non-Traditional Student Scholarship

The Helen DeVitt Jones Scholarship is awarded to adult learners (age 25 or older) who are returning to college for the first time. Minimum qualifications include: 2.50 grade point average; full-time or part-time enrollment; and U.S. citizen or permanent resident. The scholarship is one of four scholarship programs established by Helen DeVitt Jones through the Helen Jones Foundation. Mrs. Jones, a great humanitarian and patroness of education and the fine arts, was an heir to the Mallet Ranch in Hockley, Cochran, Yoakum and Terry counties. She devoted her life to sharing her wealth as a patron of philanthropic causes.
